thoughts about the closing night audience.

I call the closing night audience “The Keepers”.

It makes me feel better when I imagine that, as the actors say each line, they don’t disappear into the air, rather they go into the memories of The Keepers and they’ll look after them for us in their minds for a little while (or, if we’re lucky and we’ve done our jobs particularly well, for a long time).
